Deciding your giving ahead of time beats giving in a hurry.

The idea

Giving means handing some of your money to a person or a cause you care about, without getting anything back. Giving on purpose means you pick the amount ahead of time instead of deciding in a rushed moment. That way you can help others and still have enough left for your own plans. Even small amounts count when you choose them on purpose. 💚

To hand money or help to someone without expecting it back. Like buying lunch for a friend who forgot theirs.

Charity

A group set up to help people, animals, or the planet. An animal shelter is one.

Donation

Money or things you give to a charity or a cause. Like $5 or a bag of clothes you have outgrown.

Generous

Willing to share what you have with others. Splitting your snack without being asked is generous.

Deciding ahead of time how much you will give. Like setting aside $1 of every $10 you get.
